Perfect timing!

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

What with all the many dramas happening in life and the crazy amount of gigantic waves, my sister came at a perfect timing and we went to Sheraton Hotel for a break away from everyone and everything that wasn’t positive! Teehee!

During the stay in Sheraton, as if by God’s perfect timing, I met Nick Vujicic who were in Malaysia at the same time to give this motivational talk. We were by the pool(and I can’t get into the pool cos of stuffs) and so I was sun bathing(lies.i don’t do sunbathing what with being so dark already! -_-!!) and lying peacefully on the chair/bed when he came and spoke to us.

At first I was just so impressed because he was walking and trying the pool water(with what he calls his drumstick! :D ) and thereafter went for a swim! And all that without limbs okay!

Then when he spoke to me I was pretty much so impressed I was kinda speechless. I maybe oklah fine, was stammering a little bit cos so nervous! And I kinda remembered him from watching youtube somewhere long time ago. And so fail cos I told him that! -_-!! He was so humble to come and speak so nicely and I think he knew I was kinda shy! Haahaa! It’s true okay! So shy! :P But he was just so kind and we took photos with him!

Okay, maybe some of you don’t know who he is but here’s a video you must watch of his life testimony. :)

Anyway, after that I went to google about him somemore to refresh my memory of him and it was so amazing that I literally cried watching some of his videos. His motto? Attitude is Altitude! So inspiring and totally what I needed to hear at this point of my life!

I believe that God places the perfect people in your midst so you can understand life better. It’s like a little reminder of Him watching over us. I am so glad! Who would have thought that I would stumble upon this great disciple of Christ just when I needed an escape from life? Well, God did.

Do you trust in me? I would say yes God, I do. I think after that, Imma just have faith and trust with my whole heart.

Never give up. Not even if you’ve fallen a thousand and one times. I’m holding on to that. It’s carved deeply in my heart.

Isaiah 40:31 (New International Version)

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Dreams…

Monday, June 14th, 2010

sometimes leave me flabbergasted because it’s so surreal! There would be dreams that would leave me feeling so very very happy and plaster a smile on my face for possibly the whole entire week but there would also be dreams that would leave me breathless and sad; especially the ones that I woke up crying still. And there goes my whole day because I am nothing but exhausted and feeling rather low because it all felt too real!

Sometimes I wonder how I can be happier in my dreams than in reality. I mean, one of my happiest day of my life was in the dream I had. How can it be right? Okay in that dream I was married and was pregnant! So happy can?! and my husband loved me so so much lor. I can feel it even when I woke up. The love I mean! -_-!! It’s funny how dreams are formed and such. How some people have it and some just don’t. I am fairly interested with dreams and how we humans can get them. Some say it’s in our head and we think about it so much we dream about it too. But I didn’t think about marrying an older man who’s married before okay! Like that’s the man I got married to and is pregnant with! omg can?! So yeah, intrigue much?

Perhaps I will dream about football now cos keep thinking about it. Or you know, exams result. Sigh! Or moving to a new place. Or Cameron cause I’m going tomorrow! Hohoho! :D

I am so lazy to upload pics into my facebook cos the internet line is so slow like tortoise and I don’t like waiting so so long. :P

I am excited to go Cameron! Cos I think the last time I went there was kazillion years ago and I wana smell the fresh air and eat strawberry ice cream and sip tea like some English people and hang out with people you just love.

Update when I get back! In the mean time, support Portugal! Or else England also can lah. Heehee! :D

XOXO!

It changes every time but the fun remains! I can’t wait! I’m all in for Portugal! :D :D :D What about you?!

Ice Kacang Puppy Love

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

Hello hello! This is gonna be a short short post to tell you all that yes I am still very much alive. Teehee! :) :) :)

Anyhoo, I just only got back from a date with B and it is so random because we wanted to just catch dinner and then How to train your dragon because EVERYONE told me it’s that awesome and I needed wanted to just see how good it really is.

But! Though I booked online, by the time I get off work and got there, it’s far too late for my ticket reservations and the seats were all full! Rawr! So we thought why not watch Ice Kacang Puppy Love – a Malaysian made movie instead because two very good friends of ours said that it’s a must watch and that she’s gonna watch it for the SECOND time if it’s possible! Wah! Since got such good reviews, we just bought those tickets and and it’s a huge deal because, well, because I am a bit skeptical like that and would not want to waste good money on not so good movies.

Anyhoo, not happy still, we decided we want to catch How to train your dragon no matter what and immediately bought those tics too which was at 11.15pm. Teehee! Movie marathon! It’s feels far too long since I last spent on watching good movies. :D :D :D

Anyhoo, my point is, the Malaysian made movie is really good! Like really! I loved it so very much. It was honest, surreal, and the main reason why I loved it so much is that it made me laugh and cry all throughout and I didn’t once feel bored!

Come to think about it, I know the actors are not so good looking but they were good actors all the same. I loved the fact that I hear my mother tongue being spoken in the movie itself and it made me laugh so hard because I can just relate on how we actually speak like that sometimes! Teehee!

The storyline were really good as well, it wasn’t all sappy and predictable. In fact, my only disappointment would be the ending of the movie because I for one believe in happily ever after and well, it was very much reality based. Sigh!

***

SPOILER, PLEASE DON’T READ AHEAD IF YOU’D RATHER WATCH THE MOVIE YOURSELF, HEHEH! : I wish he would end up with her. I wish he would take the courage to just tell her how much he loves her. I wish he would not give up so easily after cycling so very far and gotten hit by a motorcycle and a bus but not have enough guts to give her the letter in his pocket or to just tell her not to leave. I wish she would maybe tell him that she don’t want to go and ask him to ask her not to leave. It’s so sad that they are so in love but it just didn’t work out because one did not have enough guts?! or should I say, one did not believe in their love enough to actually pursue it. I don’t know. But what is good is that eventually they move on and find somebody new. That, though would not be the choice I would have made, is good enough to show that there is hope in love; in meeting somebody new. What if though? What if they do meet at the street again? Would the love then comes back? I wonder.

To know what I am talking about, I truly think you should go to the cinema right now and watch that lovely movie already! I am so ready to purchase the dvd once it’s out. Yes I loved it that much! :) And no, no one’s paying me to promote the movie. :P

Here’s the trailer:

And to know more about the movie please click here.

Oh and How to train your dragon is good too. I likey! I think what speaks to me most in this movie is that we don’t have to be like everybody to succeed. Sometimes, being the different one helps change the course of things surrounding us.

Like the small good looking man. I for one think he is reallly reallllly good looking though skinny and all. Haahaa! :P And how he sees himself as the weak one eventually helped saved everyone else and those dragons too. It’s like what the bible says right? God uses the weak(who actually acknowledges that they are weak) to shame the wise. Teehee!

Alright. I got to go! It’s late and I’ve got to sleep because tomorrow would be catching up with the girls day and sharing lives while celebrating Phy’s birthday! Also, tomorrow would be my last time worship leading before going back to the lovely hometown! I am looking forward to it very much because I know that God has so many things that He wants to tell us; as long as we stop and choose to listen!

Blessed day people! Godspeed! :D

Saturday’s fun!

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

P/s this was a long time ago. Before the CNY. Teehee! :D Just realized I have many drafts haven’t post up. Teehee! :P

Had Northern Indian food and catch up with the leadership team which can be found here.

Then went over to Sunway Pyramid for supposedly ice skating fun with the favourite boys and I brought all my stuffs ie stokings and gloves but we did not ice skate in the end because there were sooooo many people on the ice skating ring and if I skated I would perhaps block the whole entire ring because I would be stuck at the side not knowing how to move -_-!! I would get all wet since the ring was kinda wet wet wet with all that people skating on it. So, we ended up in Carl’s Junior since the boys boy haven’t been to one since he came to KL for studies. Teehee!
